SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION 

Thanks to the expansion of our photovoltaic system, we are now able to generate the energy needed to cover the entire production process and a surplus which, when fed into the grid, contributes to meeting the energy needs of the company’s headquarters district.

The introduction of an advanced wastewater purification system and advanced technology for washing the plants has allowed us to reduce the consumption of water necessary to carry out the activity by approximately 50%.

UP-CYCLING AND ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING 

Vitalfarco constantly invest in the research of raw materials with low environmental impact and active ingredients from up-cycling, as well as adopting complete ecofriendly packaging, like FSC certificated cardboard, PCR Plastic and Green PE, the special bioplastic made from sugar cane that allows to capture CO2 from the atmosphere instead of introducing it.

FISHING FOR LITTER CAMPAIGNS

In order to convert our environmental commitment into concrete actions, we have joined plastic mitigation projects with the aim of reducing the impact of the packaging of the Sun Lovin’ sun care lines by Maxima Professional and Sea Sun Care by Roverhair.

In collaboration with Ogyre, a company specialised in collecting plastic dispersed in the sea, we actively contribute to the preservation of the marine ecosystem and the promotion of a more sustainable production cycle.
